Brand Project #4



Communication Objective:
  • To show people that Stella McCartney’s brand can be sustainable and still luxurious while also benefiting the planet and the customer with its animal friendly high quality fabrics and  production methods.
    • All vegan leather, suedes, silks and wool (organic)
    • Created less harm to the environment while still offering exclusivity and design
  • We are agents of change. We challenge and push boundaries to make luxurious products in a way that is fit for the world we live in today and the future: beautiful and sustainable. No compromises.”
Target:
    • Fashion forward men and women
      • Future trendsetters of fashion
      • More environmentally conscious generations who still want the look and feel of luxury
      • Bloggers/celebrities who have a huge impact on society and opinions
    • People who shop at Stella McCartney have an eye for fashion but do not want their materialistic side of them damaging the ecosystem. They are environmentally conscious consumers that would rather spend their money on a high-end  product that does not cause as much harm to the planet rather than a product that does.
Support:
    • Stella McCartney was the first ever high-end vegan friendly brand. Because of this and their efforts to keep discovering new technology that allows them to create silks and wools and leather that do not affect animals. It has also inspired other high-end brands to do so as well.
      • Gucci, Michael Kors, Vivienne Westwood, Versace, Calvin Klein, Coach and many more are following the huge trend of being more environmentally aware and have gone fur-free!
    • Most Advanced Products:
      • Silk (made by studying spider webs and how strong they are)
      • Vegetarian leather (using recycled polyester)
      • Metals (use sustainable stainless-steel and aluminum alternative that they made)

Brand Character:
    • Main theme- Environmentally friendly
      • The company takes everybody into consideration during manufacturing: their employees, the farmers and designers
      • Level of awareness how they impact the world
        • Have been reducing their ‘impact’ with new innovations since 2012
    • Not only is the brand Stella McCartney beneficial to its customers, but also, to society and the environment
    • Very reliable brand for all customers
    • Respectful of all others whether that be animals, planet, humans,or the people making their products
    • Constantly advocating for human and animal rights
Attitude
