Brand Project #2: Aerie's Benefits

If the person you’re selling to agrees to buy Aerie, will his or her life improve?

1) Financial Improvement: Saving Money
A) Women are able to pay for a  basic necessity at a much lower price than the competing brands.
B) Aerie Rewards System: after spending a certain amount of money, you are rewarded.


2) Strategic Improvement: Good Cause
A) Makes people more aware of diverse cultural norms and how to appreciate them.
B) They are supporting a good cause which elevates their status. 
C) Able to become a part of a movement.

3) Personal Improvement: Self-Love
A) Aerie products offer young women and girls the opportunity for inclusion, confidence, and self-love.
B) Shows women that there are people who understand and struggle with the same insecurities - makes people feel less alone.

How do interactions with Aerie benefit the world?

1) Financial Benefit: Women's Empowerment
A) The customer is paying for something that is a good cause.
B) This is doing more for women’s empowerment, by creating certain jobs and is encouraging women to be more outspoken.

2) Strategic Benefit: Creating a Movement
A) By advocating for body positivity they are inspiring other major companies to do the same. 
B) A major example of this is CVS and their real beauty campaign. They have decided that all pictures represented by the company are going untouched. 

3) Personal Benefit: Self-Confidence
A) By making their customers so comfortable with being themselves it is somewhat changing how women look at themselves on a day to day basis.
B) When leaving the store it leaves shoppers with a sense of security and comfort that is often missed in their everyday lives.
C) Made to feel as though they are ENOUGH.
